Hey everyone! So today we're going to be talking about dupes. You know, items that are super affordable and mimic the appearance of your favorite designer (and more costly!) items.
I have some staple designer products that I've accumulated over the years. They're amazing, they're high quality, love them. But what about those of us just getting back into the fashion game? Or those of us who would never dream of spending so much on a luxury item. It can be overwhelming to those of us who love the shiny things, but don't exactly have hundreds of dollars to splurge. Some of us have to, you know, feed ourselves and our children? I get it! That's why dupes are so much fun.
First I'll start with my favorite staple item: My Michael Kors watch.

The watch on the right is a gorgeous MK watch that retails for around $275, while the dupe to the left of it is under $50! I personally own an AKRIBOS watch and the quality is fantastic. I'm pretty snobby about quality and it will bother me if what I'm wearing is cheap feeling. Who can blame us after we've had the real thing! So I really need to be duped when it comes to buying these items.

As you guys have seen in my previous posts, these are my 4 go-to bags. I can find a way to use these bags with any outfit I choose. I talk about staples - ALOT - and these are mine.

All of the look-alike's I've found are under $50!! What a steal. What I love so much about these little wristlet's is that I can stuff them easily into my diaper bag, and believe me, I have. All of these clutches have been used and abused, stuffed into my diaper bag, thrown up on, dragged on the floor (by my little one who just can't leave the bedroom without a purse), and they still look this good. It's pretty fantastic actually. Plus, when a quick stop doesn't require the entire diaper bag, the little wristlet is perfect for juggling the baby in one hand and your wallet in the other. Score.
Okay, random tangent. While I was browsing through purses I found this AMAZING looking new 'Call it Spring' collection by ALDO. I've never bought a purse from ALDO before but these styles are to die for! You could buy each for the price of a designer bag! I'm loving all the florals, light colors, and color-blocking this collection features. Let me know if you've ever bought a purse from ALDO and what you think about this collection!
On to shoes! I love finding good deals on shoes because honestly, up until recently did I think that it was ridiculous to spend anything over $70 on shoes. Then, I was gifted my first pair of Tory Burch flat's and the addiction progressed from there. However, I'm not as particular about my shoes as I am my purses and these shoes are fantastic dupes! Notice everything is in like a neutral luggage/tan. Again, I like to get my money's worth out of an item and you can only do that if it's easy to pair with multiple outfits.
The Michael Kors mules are both over $100 each, while the Report and Jessica Simpson look-alikes are a steal for under $60.
Last but not least, these studded Valentino flats have been catching my eye lately. I feel like everyone in the blogging world is rocking these, but who on earth can afford them at nearly $1000 each! You could easily mistake these Halogen dupes for the Valentino's, the differences are nearly unrecognizable.
