Who else hates wearing pants?
Okay guys, I hate wearing pants. Like, for real. I live my life in yoga pants (as you guys can tell), so when the time comes where I actually have to wear pants it's like torture. I'm counting down the hours until I can return to the comfortable safety of my yoga pants. Plus, jean shopping is such a nightmare. My proportions seem to be equal to that of an alien, because so far I haven't found jeans that cater to them. I have a large behind (insert promiscuous rap lyrics here) and super large thighs and hips, but if I go up too many sizes it just hangs everywhere else. So generally when I buy jeans they have to be some form of legging/jean hybrid.
Yoga pants are not acceptable for church Sunday
You guys hate me for saying this. I hate me for saying this. But here's the thing, yoga pants are only not acceptable for Church Sunday if people can tell that you're wearing yoga pants. I totally get away with it when I pair an oversized chiffon top with some booties, but for most other occasions, I try to wear some form of pants.
These pants rock for my body type, because they're high waisted which means that I don't have to go up several pant sizes in order for the pants to fit my super large hips. They're stretchy, which is important for dealing with a toddler in church. They're still not as comfortable as my yoga pants and I still really want to get out of them at the end of the day, but at least they're not falling down every second and they actually fit. I consider that a win.

Versatility is key
I got these pants in grey, but a tan or black would have been fantastic too. I have several of these flowy chiffon tanks (the Topshop cami's in pink, neon yellow, black, etc.) which means I can essentially make the same outfit in several different ways. Last weekend I paired the same shoes, pants, and cardigan with the bright pink tank and accessorized with pink lipstick and my flamingo purse.
Micro-heels, for the win
These BCBGeneration Albaz shoes are amazing! The mini heel is great for the business woman walking around the office all day, or for moms running after toddlers in church or a nice restaurant. The heel is just big enough to give you that dressed up look while still being comfortable. It inspired me to make some room in my closet for more mini heels! When you get a chance, go through your closet and get rid of anything you haven't worn in awhile and won't wear. I had so many heels that were in amazing condition and super chic, but honestly weren't practical for my mommy lifestyle anymore. So I got rid of them, cleared out some space in my closet and got some extra cash in the meanwhile! Win!
The links below the picture are great for ordering the BCBG Albaz wedge pump if you are size 6.5, 7, 11 or 12, but if not I gave links to 2 other similar shoe styles (here and here) and they have them in every size. Ill be ordering the BCBGeneration 'Alek' wedge pump from Nordstrom in Taupe, which will be great for pairing with brown leathers and whites!
