I'm so excited! I love this time of year and all of the family activities it brings. I'm also so blessed to be able to spend it with Andrew this time around.
Okay, so being real for a sec, it's seriously in the low 70's all this week, but you would think it's -14 from the way this household is reacting. My GSP cuddles up in lit corners of our house and just shivers. My husband already wants to turn on the heat and I am absolutely freezing during the day, I don't know what it is about my house that traps the cold, but it seriously feels like 50 degrees in this house as I'm typing. Plus, yesterday it was extremely windy and rainy. So, in typical San Diegan/Arizonian fashion, I bought the chunkiest most comfortable sweater I could find just because the temperature dipped below 80 degrees. I know that my east coast family is rolling their eyes about now. Don't worry guys, me too.
But seriously! Is anyone else jumping on this long cardigan trend like moms?! If you follow me on instagram (@everygoodwoman) you've heard me say this a time or two. We mom's love when trends like this come into fashion because they are just so mom friendly. The half bun came into style this year too, we mom's have been rocking that do before it was socially acceptable! Love it when I can be comfortable and trendy at the same time.
Let's be honest, I'm wearing this Lulu*s long tan cardigan sweater way too much. I'm one of those- buys a new item of clothing and wears it to death until I'm sick of it, kinda gals. It's just so comfy and warm I can't help it. Here I've paired it with an all black casual ensemble (black cami and my fav lululemon's of course) but there are so many ways to wear this piece. I wore some strappy heels and a lace black top under it for church and it was a dream. I will definitely be wearing this cardigan on repeat. Here are some more options to pair with this piece!

*I usually prefer the Steve Madden 'Stecy' sandal instead, but the 'Vienna' sandals below have a 3" heel versus a 4" on the Stecy! Much easier to walk in (for me at least!). Enter code 'CHEER' at check out and receive nearly $20 off at Lord and Taylor! (plus if you're an American Express holder you apply for 2-day free shipping with Shoprunner!) And those Old Navy lace-up pointed flats come in black for under $30!
